What's Your Biggest Disappointment In Life??
by minimus indoes it have to do with having been a witness?
the fact that you missed out in something??
what?

My biggest disappointment is the 15 years I spent in the WTBS and marrying into one of the most flagrant and practiced families at covering up scandals and aiding co-dependent behavior and abuse.

Hi Folks:
Please accept my apologies for the delays. I have posted some new updates on the original thread. I will try to post as much as I can every day. Today, a lot of legal stuff is happening and some of it is not good. Talia's condition is improving. I will write more about that later. -

NWT Scholars
by homme perdu in.
the book, reasoning from the scriptures does not inform the reader on who are the nwt scholars nor their education background.
could someone provide some information concerning the nwt scholars?

On a secular note, although I typically encourage, respect and endorse most forms of advanced education, graduate studies and doctoral studies, I must admit that I have always found degrees in religious studies, theology and other related majors as having less potential for impacting society in a positive way and less productive overall.
That is just my opinion as a science and technology major. -

Unfortunately, you willingly persist in abusing yourself mentally by consciously propogating WTBS and biblical chronology.
There can be NO substitute chronology for what is already flawed from origin. For example, if I print a fictitious story with a timeline, and critics dispute the timeline, and other critics dispute the critics, the end result is inconsequential, null and void because of the original premise is not based on fact.
Since the bible is definitely flawed, attempting to correct the flaws with "malleable" substitutes and "pliable" solutions does not constitute fact or resolve the original dilemma. Bible chronology is flawed, and customized bibile chronology according to the WTBS is also flawed, as are the historical, archaeological and theological attempts at deciphering and correcting the very same chronology.
It is an exercise in futility, better yet, insanity according to Einstein's definition.
Biblical chronology is irrelevant and useless. -

Alan F & Farkel, Hillary, Leiolea, & others:
This was (is) a very lengthy thread. Given the fact this subject has been appropriately handled so many times before on this board and within this particular thread, I will not paste notes from my previous research.
Basically, as Alan so clearly explained, in order for an individual to adhere to the doctrine of the WTBS and comply with the policies of the WTBS, that individual MUST maintain a closed mind. All witnesses suffer from a varying degree of Stockholm syndrome and live in denial.
It is only the proud and unfounded defense mechanism of all witnesses to refuse, ignore, deny and reject any source of exposure or criticism of the mother organization. This is obvious by tracking the declining tone of the "Scholar" as the thread progressed.
As the overwhleming evidence became clearer and clearer, and the proof unquestionable, this automaton's tone began increasing in personal attacks and containing less "scholarly" information to defend the futile doctrine of the WTBS.
It was like watching the dismantling of liar's alibis. Little by little, the scholar was forced to reluctantly acquiesce and then finally retreat into the sanctuary of denial, then lash out in harsh rampant criticism and negativity.
It's funny how one who boasts of academics, critical thinking skills, applied science and enlightenment cannot remain on course and when dislodged, one cannot simply accept reality in good sportsmanship and make the experience an object lesson for growth.
Typical dysfunctional delusional demagogue from the denizens of depraved religious fanatics in the WTBS.

In February of 2004, I re-entered the gym after a 3-4 year hiaitus. At the time, I weighed 226 pounds at five feet six inches, with a thirty-nine inch waist and probably thirty-five to forty percent body fat.
I began practicing the age-old high intensity weightlifting routines from Dr. Arthur Jones (inventor of nautilus and many other things). I also began a modified Atkins / South Beach / Military diet. It goes something like this:
Day One: Three meals; each meal contains eight ounces of plain tuna and twelve ounces of spinach with a liter of water
Day Two: Three meals; each contains a one liter low carb, low calorie, fat-free protein shake from whey isolate plus water all day long
Day Three: No meals; fast all day and drink plenty of water all day long
After the thrid day, the diet repeats from day one. I have been doing this since February, and now, I weigh 179 pounds, am under 10% body fat and very lean, muscular and proportionate. I am not large, but medium sized and built like a military / martial artist. I feel great. I can now run the quarter mile in under one minute at my age and am doing power yoga too.
I don't knwo if this would work for anybody else (check with your doctor), but my family history includes diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and other problems. Thus, I took drastic measures when my doc informed me my bad cholesterol was 297.
